The mission of Rapid City Islamic Center / Mosque is to establish the practice of Islam in the lives of its members, to please Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala), through adherence to the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). It will provide a place of worship, an Islamic environment for individuals and families, authentic Islamic education, da’wah programs (outreach programs) for proper understanding of Islam, a source of reference, and a support system for the community. Another important objective is to promote better relations and understanding of Islam among non-Muslims and to remove misconceptions about Islam and Muslims from their minds.
